Packaging/Custom Packaging
To protect your fine art prints and specialty media productions from getting damaged, the team at ArtfulPrint  will provide their professional experience to custom pack and secure shipment for your printed pieces both framed and unframed. For local clients, or those that have their own means of shipping, we will coordinate with you and safely package your prints.

Experts in shipping framed or unframed work, we will provide you with pricing and shipment options that work with your schedule and need. Because international shipping prices vary based on destination, size, and exchange rates, we would price this out with you at the time of shipment.

Scanning/Photography Services
High resolution color corrected scans are required to create a digital file that is used to produce the best possible print. The quality and size of the scan will determine the quality of the fine art Giclee print. It is important to have it done correctly, so we offer referrals for both scanning and photography services.

• Scanning: High-resolution scans allow us to easily manipulate the fine art image until it is an acceptable match of the original.

• Photography: Much like the scanning process, photography can produce a high-resolution scan that allows for easy manipulation. A photo scan has also proven to show even more detail using light to capture the tiniest variations in lines and colors.

Whichever method you choose you can be assured to receive outstanding quality. An important thing to remember is that most prints are printed with a 300 dpi file. If you intend to enlarge something to 200% for example the scan will need to be at a resolution of 600 dpi.

Archiving Services for Images
ArtfulPrint has a system for archiving images so that they are available for future use. High resolutions scans are critical in determining the final print. It is particularly important that the image is in sharp focus and evenly lit. Critical to determining the scan setting will be the size of the image to be printed along with other considerations like print media and edition size.
